I’ve always liked John Derian’s decoupage plates, and this image from his new West Village store inspires my love of plate walls. It’s a cabinet, I know, and a lovely one, but I like the idea of a wall covered in a hodge podge of plates collected from all over the world. John Derian would appear, a heart, peas in a pod and a colour wheel, perhaps. Have a look at the new store, it’s really quite charming.
